Kavango

Kavango is a beautiful conservation themed board game for 1-5 players. Designed in Botswana, Kavango is inspired by real-life conservation success stories and the stunning wildlife of Southern Africa.

Play as a Conservation Expert with special abilities that will help you build a flourishing ecosystem over three fast paced rounds of card drafting.

As you grow your Nature Reserve, complete research tasks to earn money and invest in protection so you can introduce vulnerable and endangered species. As the game progresses, your choices become harder and your strategy more complex.

Can you introduce the highest scoring animals into your Nature Reserve? Will you complete enough Research? Can you win any Conservation Awards?

At the end of the game, the player with the highest scoring Nature Reserve wins. Points are won by playing animal cards, completing research tasks and winning end-of-game Conservation Awards.

With 160 beautifully hand-drawn species cards, 40 research tasks, 10 Conservation Experts and 5 landscape boards, there is ultimate replayability to reflect the incredible biodiversity of Kavango.
